 The party decides to help raid an Ottoman blockhouse near the border of Hungarian controlled Croatia. Barica and Kruno begin leading them to a boat which will take them on the first leg of their journey, only to discover that those piloting it have been arrested and executed. Fearing that the mission has been compromised, the party makes their way into the wilderness towards a Hungarian safehouse. On their way there they discover a cave, and decide to explore it. Inside they find a very young red dragon and barely manage to slay it. Lexent loses his armour in the process. Proceeding onward, they reach the safehouse, only to find it surrounded by another Ottoman patrol and set ablaze. Thoroughly paranoid, they continue westward with dwindling supplies, sticking to the back country. After spending a day fishing to replenish their supplies, they awake to find themselves surrounded by a patrol of centaurs. The centaurs agree to help feed the party and get them across the border in exchange for helping to clear out an old Hunnish dungeon that has become the lair of a tribe of troglodytes.

They then proceed deeper and find the leader of the Troglodytes with all the others remaining and their collective treasure. They successfully defeat them and return to the surface to recover.
