 :: '''The DM:''' My apologies.  It was less personal than a necessity.  Engelhart was constantly acting as a contrarian and as an obstacle to momentum.  On several occasions he would abandon other combatants in the field, he would fail to ask proper questions about the setting and then make assumptions having not inquired, only for me to have to correct the aftermath of his presuming.  Far too often, he would pop in, drop a few half-acted upon intentions, and then fail to reappear for the rest of the day.
 ::: '''The DM:''' I understand not being around; if players need to step out and take time for themselves, I don't have a problem; D&D has always been built that way.  But Engelhart had a way of making every moment of the campaign about himself, leaving the rest of us waiting for him to "finish up."  His flat out refusal to use phrases that would have clearly defined his actions was the last straw with me, as each time I would need to come back, sometimes more than twice, to ask, "What exactly do you do?" only to be shunted off again.  At a table, this could be overlooked, but in this format, it is deathly troublesome.
