HP

Your starting hit points are 12, plus your mass, but I roll that. I looked for your weight, but couldn't find it. Are you familiar with how the encumbrance calculation is made? --The DM (talk) 20:08, 17 August 2020 (UTC)

Understood. My mass is 122 lb (still adding things and organizing). What should I roll and what should I leave to you? –Vafrandir 20:21, 17 August 2020 (UTC)
-- Hit Points per Die gives you a mass h.p. of 1-6. Sadly, I rolled a "1" ... which gives you 13 h.p. If it helps any, it would mean that your character began as an ungainly, somewhat weak-hearted kid who started his training for fighter with 1 h.p. (his mass only). He would have had to overcome that detriment to harden himself, to achieve 3 h.p. to become a man-at-arms, when he would have had 4-7 h.p.; my roll makes it 6, which is what you would have had when you began training as a levelled fighter. That's how my system works, anyway.
-- I think that's the last thing I need to roll.
Very good. I will make the appropriate change. Yes, I understand the encumbrance system: I carry 52.33 lb (-2 AP) including my backpack, before combat this can be shed to give me 45.23 lb (-1 AP). –Vafrandir 20:53, 17 August 2020 (UTC)
Sorry to nag. You input your strength and character weight to establish the limitations on each AP? --The DM (talk) 23:16, 17 August 2020 (UTC)

Notifications

I am also wondering if there is a way to get notifications for changed to watched pages. That could help with keeping everyone active, since you would know on logging in that your comments had been addressed. Just a thought. –Vafrandir 20:53, 17 August 2020 (UTC)

You know more about how to do that then I do. You have my permission to jump in; my email is alexiss1@telus.net
Saw the notification. That seems to work. --The DM (talk) 23:15, 17 August 2020 (UTC)
Most interesting, since I haven't actually done anything yet...I think it might be something IT needs to do. We can live without it. Setting the recent changes page to update live works fine, it just won't ding us or send an email, for instance. –Vafrandir 23:24, 17 August 2020 (UTC)
