Vafrandir gains another 4 h.p. in Monica's care; she makes a delicious porridge that makes you hope that it won't be the last time you taste it.  You learn for certain that she's unmarried and you witness a brief scene the night before where she turns away a would-be suitor, Svein, rather coldly — before coming in and positively glowing with smiles as she asks you if you'd like a small bit of rum before returning to sleep.  She receives a bottle whenever she wants one, but she doesn't explain how.

One thing I'm uncertain about is how we can speak on the same page at the same time, without tripping each other up when we try to update. I'm fairly sure we can do this on the discussion page; and though that is private, it can be trimmed and formatted for public consumption later, if need be.
