Knowledge in the planning, designing and construction of buildings and other physical structures, including a recognition of styles, structural integrity and cultural background of existing buildings, made recognizable by the character. The study enables the character to repair and design buildings, both as practical structures and as compelling works of grandiose scale; build fortifications; improve and fabricate at the level of urban design, with improvements in cultivation, irrigation, road building, water supply and so on, potentially to the highest level of construction, which in some cases overlaps with the study of engineering.

  • Recognition of Style: enables the identification of purpose, nature, period and probable culture of origin for an existing structure.
