Alexis: If you read this, please give assent so I know you've read it, given that it discusses the campaign for all of us.

Despite what I wrote last week, I am in doubts about the sustainability of this campaign. I finished my last contract on Saturday and I've received word of its quality. I am assured that there will be increasingly more work for me of this kind as August progresses and into September. I'm glad for it, because more opportunities of this kind will enable me to seriously pursue other projects beyond the menu over the next year or two.

With the collapse of Covid, my offline campaigns will be ramping up. Since these are face-to-face campaigns with my friends and family, they must take precedence. I hate how cold and heartless that sounds, but my hands are tied. I know that between these other things, the extra work, the projects that I want to take on, additional babysitting duties with my grandson who is 10 months old tomorrow, that time is an unavoidable issue. I know that if I attempt to continue the Juvenis campaign, that I will left having to make last minute cancellations and find excuses, which will make consistency and therefore real commitment impractical. In reality, it is better in this case to commit to the loss than it is to leave the patient on eternal life-support.

But I don't want to make that decision on my own. As players, you have all been first-rate. It has been an absolute pleasure to play with you and I wish you were live and part of my gaming table. I would surely make room for any of you. And so please, let me know your position in this; your disappointment, your sincere anger ... whatever you feel you need to convey. I have an open mind; if anyone would like to make a suggestion on how we can move forward, please express that suggestion.

Joey Bennett: Playing in this campaign is an absolute joy. It is, of course, a disappointment to think of the loss of any or all of it. I am absolutely open to continuing, even under these less than optimal circumstances. I am considering suspending my Friday night game within the next month or so, as my players are of... less than optimal quality. This could allow me to commit to a virtual game most weeks on those evenings.

Marcule: I Ferl bad that this is my day back from the dead. i also would hate to see this game stop . perhaps we could make this like so many 'in world campeigns' and reduce it to lesser days. givin that i have also been away i have no right to be botherd in what is decided.

The DM: What about the suggestion of two game nights a month; where we're all here, not also working, and possibly moving it to a zoom concept.

Joey Bennett: I could work with that. I also have experience with roll20, which is system agnostic and relatively easy to use, especially once it has been set up. I would also be able to assist you, Alexis, in setting things up if you needed.

The DM: I have I.T. help at this end and I should have the power and space now to make that practical.

The DM: Vladimir is out of touch more or less; we have Lexent and Marcule. Should we play some game, then? Vladimir is going to be off next week – we can try and play out the rest of this week and then arrange a schedule I can work around for when he comes back. IF everyone agrees to the change.

Joey Bennett: I'm up for playing.

Pandred: I'd do any days that worked for you. I love this game. I don't mind Zoom or whatever interface makes you most comfortable. I have access to Foundry VTT, which is exactly like Lex's roll20, but with the paid features baked in. P: Seriously, whatever you decide can be worked with. I'm happy to see you moving forward with your other ventures, and I'm proud to have been a part of the game, whatever form it takes in the future. Everyone has been excellent.
