The DM: Beginning of the round

With the beetles taking no action except to eat the dead bodies of their victims, the only thing to do is check Engelhart's overheating damage. I rolled that he takes zero damage. So no issue there.

Lothar is 3 feet up the twine rope. Both Engelhart and Lothar can act as they prefer.

Lothar: I prefer to continue climbing out of this tomb.

The DM: [Don't want to change your mind? Come back and die?]

Lothar: [Tempting as the offer is, I'll take the opportunity to live and learn]

Engelhart: Engelhart will play coy for now, cautiously moving back into 0407 and wait the beetle out, to see what it does.

I'll use my last AP to sling my hammer, albeit within easy reach.

Engelhart: On second thought, scratch that, make it a full backward move into 0503.

The DM: Your first move would have constituted a rest, Engelhart.
