Continued From The Pit Room

Summary

Pandred pushes through the wall into the next room, drawing the attention of a shrieker which immediatly begins to ... shriek.

Shrieker room

The DM: Sorry, cuts off Embla and Oddsdrakken.

Pandred falls into the room; and before he can breathe, or catch his balance, a nine-foot-tall shrieker begins to wail at the top of its inordinately evolved lungs.

The shrieker makes no attack, so the party has initiative.

Sorry, I keep forgetting things. The brown-grey swirls in the room are floor-to-ceiling stalactites/mites. Those hexes cannot be entered.

Pandred: Can't think of any reason not to:

I'll step up into 1211 (through 1212) and axe the shrieker something personal.

d20: 7+1 , Hits AC 10

d6: 4+3, Total 7.

The DM: The shrieker is flailing its large wood-like limbs around, rapidly, while the main body undulates; Pandred is put off and tries to swing, but the axe comes just short of the creature's actual body. It is quite big, and has a long reach with those limbs.

Engelhart: I rush into the room as well, maul in hand.

The DM: [4:02 and I'm going to call it today. Let's start again tomorrow when I wake up. Thanks guys, it's at least a start]

The DM: [OOC: New day; we'll play until 4 pm again, my time]

I presume that Pandred went the shortest distance, and that she is in 1311. Please tell me what hex you run to, Engelhart. I saw that the image was messed up; but I've fixed it and you can see yourself now.

Engelhart: 1212.

The DM: Fire alarm in the building. I have to vacate.

Lothar: Oh dear. Hopefully it's not too bad... D:

The DM: All right, I'm back. Some wiring problem with another unit.

Waiting on Lothar and Embla's move.

Lothar: Longsword out, I step up to 1311. And that is all of my AP.

The DM: I don't want to slow this down any more, so I'll let Embla make a retcon, if necessary.

I'm working on the next post.

If someone could save me time in the meanwhile ... did I ever give experience for the ticks?

The DM: Lothar, 1311 is full of Pandred. I'll stop you at 1312.

Lothar: I thought she went to 1211.

The DM: Damn, you're correct.

I've made the map and put up the next post. I'll just go and fix it.

The DM: Okay, that's fixed. The next post is up.

The DM: Engelhart and Lothar, you both hit. But this thing continues to suck down the damage.
